In the last 30 years, the jeweller City Guld has been located in Esbjerg. With 30 years of experience, City Guld has many experiences when it comes to various POS solutions. The current solution, NP Retail, is, according to Harris Sabanagic, by far the best solution they have used:
“Our current solution is much more structured and user-friendly than what we have been used to previously. At the same time, it is a complete POS solution and NaviPartner supply us with everything from POS rolls to printer cartridges and labels. The prices are fair as well. The accounts are also easier to take care off since the reconciliation process can be done in the system. That saves us money on accounting.”
Always updated stock
In order to save money, City Guld tried two other web shop suppliers first, but in the end, it was not worth the expense because of a lack of integration between stock and the financial management system. It is the integration that ensures good customer service and that the day-to-day working procedures are running effectively:
“When we sell something from our webshop it is automatically removed from our stock and the same goes when we sell a product in-store. Previously we experienced that a customer could order a product on the web shop that was on back order because it had been sold in our store already. We could not see it in the system, and that was obviously a problem for us,” says Harris Sabanagic, IT-manager in City Guld.

Everything happens automatically through e-invoicing when we receive invoices from our three suppliers. We do not have to worry about typing in the products manually. Instead, we download a file that places all the information into our system automatically. It is a huge advantage for us.
We are very satisfied with the statistics module where we can look up sales statistics such as which product lines are the best sellers, what brands are the most popular and at which time of the day we sell the most. How are sales this month compared to last year? We can look up the numbers on everything and that insight really helps us to develop our business further.
If we have a technical question, it is important for us that we can get help right away. NaviPartner’s support has long opening hours. We can call them all day and it is great for us, especially since our previous suppliers closed their phone lines at 3.00pm.
NaviPartner takes care of hosting our solution so we do not have to take backup in our store. If our computer breaks down or the system crashes, we do not have to worry about data loss. We know all of it is placed on their server and it gives us a sense of security.
